1. Are you Christian? ( Yes, we are Christian. I love my Savior with all my heart. He is at the center of our religion, home and our lives. We believe with all our hearts in his great Sacrifice and Atonement. )
2. Will you try at every angle to get me to join your church? (We are a missionary church and want to share our beliefs because they have brought so much joy, peace, and light to our lives, but if you are not interested in learning more, we will not and should not push our beliefs on you-we will still be friends if you are not interested. Yes, I will talk freely about my church and what I am doing there, because it is my whole life.)
3. Do you believe in the Bible? (Yes (King James Version), Chris and I love the Bible. My children love the Bible. Yes, we also do believe in another testament of Jesus Christ (another book of scripture) called the Book of Mormon. This is a book about Christ's visit to the Americas and the prophets' teachings on this continent.
4. Do you accept other people and their religious beliefs? (Of course, I have hundreds of friends not of my faith. I see so much good that so many of my Christian friends are doing in their own lives and in the community. I respect other beliefs with all my heart and would never talk badly about any other beliefs that were different than my own. If I were invited to go to any church event from another religion by one of my friends, I would make every effort to attend that event and support my friend. My friends are amazing examples to me and my life is better for knowing you)
5. Should I believe the negative stuff I read and hear about in regards to the Mormon Church? (No, there is so much negative and anti Mormon stuff out there (ex. Book of Mormon Musical). I tell people to go the genuine Church website Mormon.org that is endorsed by the Church or ask me. I will be able to tell you what is true and what is not true. Someone thought we couldn't dance or have holidays- not true. Do we believe in being together with our families forever after this life? (Yes!)
