"V"s blessing day-Sunday September 29th 2012

This is the sixth and last blessing dress I've made for the girls.  The bodices are made from my wedding dress.
"C" also made little booties to go with it.  It's also the sixth pair he's made.  My brother was here for the blessing.  He played a ton with the girls and made them laugh.  We miss him already. 

"L"s 7th Birthday Party

We did a "Tangled" party .  We did a tower cake and made lanterns to hang around.
All the kids made noses and we played, "Pin the nose in Flynn Rider."  Then we made
Pascals and put blowers in the middle for his tongue.  The kids loved these.  We watched the new sequel short called "Tangled: Ever After," and we followed Rapunzel's braid all over the yard to find the hidden treasure.

We love our town!

 For Family Night, we visited the fire station and brought over 50 volunteer firefighters brownies and a thank you letter.
Four of the volunteers took us on a tour of the station and let the girls get in the truck and gave them hats.

Every year our city gives new bikes away in conjunction with the town parade.  This year, our girls won two of the mountain bikes.  We were so excited because they both needed new bikes.
