Pumpkin Carving and Halloween 2012

I found these sweet 70's clothes at Goodwill and washed them up!  It was fun to feel like the Brady Bunch.  K was Dobby, C was Hermione, L was Rapunzel, E was a super hero, Ken was a unicorn and V was a carrot!

She Won!

Kanza ran for Vice President at her Middle School and Won!  She ran against five other people.
She had to give a speech to the student body club and she gave out 100 sugar cookies in the shapes of "V"s and "P"s.
She gave a speech that she had worked very hard on and had pictures to go with different things she was saying.  She found out yesterday that she won.

Rest of the trip!

The old Sears building now called the Willis.

Our Chicago Trip October 25th and 26th 2012

We started this trip with the temple.  We took turns doing sessions.  It was 70 and beautiful!

This was the fountain at the temple.

It had rained and these leaf imprints were all over the sidewalks at the temple.

I took the kids to the nearby nature preserve while Chris was in the temple.  We found this pumpkin there.

This is "our" hotel.  We stay here many times when we go to the temple.  It's free at the Embassy Suites with our American Express card.

I think the main reason we love this hotel is because of the free breakfasts and the big gold fish in the stream in the hotel.

This is downtown Chicago on Lakeshore drive.  It was so much fun.  It's the first time We've been downtown and the biggest city I've ever seen.

This is Lake Michigan.

We took the kids to the Shedd Aquarium.  It was so much fun.

Dance dress up party at our elementary

This is our little carrot.  I made this when K was a baby.  All the girls have worn it I think.
Here we have Sharpay, a witch, and our super hero.
